VEX COBO BIOGRAPHY

Vex Cobo is a Reggae/Dancehall performer based out of Calgary, Alberta by way of Mayaro, Trinidad.

He has been performing and writing for himself for over ten years and has also expanded his horizons by writing and producing for other artists.

Musically, his main influences include such reggae legends as Bob Marley, Shabba Ranks and Supercat. 'I always attempt to write something that is both catchy, pleasing to the ear and something that is lyrically intelligent.'

His second release entitled, Vex Rated, is a diverse collection of club-worthy dance tracks, mellowed out culture vibes and hard hitting beats. The album was compiled and written over the past two years. Being a self-proclaimed perfectionist, Vex Cobo prefers to take his time with putting his material together in order to maintain a level of quality that would be lacking if his projects were rushed.

In support of the second album, Vex Cobo expects to tour more than he did for his previous release. The new album also includes a few more radio friendly releases so Vex Cobo fans can hopefully expect to hear more from him through radio airwaves. Vex Rated is currently available through digital download services such as CD Baby and iTunes.
